THAILAND

Prior to its involvement in Laos, Amanta was active in Thailand, where it has been developing two projects, the Langu gold project and the Lanna tungsten project, the latter comprising the Mae Lama and the Mae Chedi tungsten properties. The Company has invested some $6 million in these projects but, with Amanta’s focus on becoming a significant copper/silver and molybdenum exploration company in Laos, the Company’s Thai projects are no longer considered core projects and Amanta is considering ways to realise the value of its Thai assets, either through Joint Ventures or sales.
