LAOS

In June 2008, Amanta was granted a 200 km² Copper Exploration and Development Agreement in Luang Namtha province in the Lao PDR, becoming the first and to date the only Canadian company to be granted such a concession. Based on its current progress and its belief that northern Laos represents a new mineral province, Amanta has already established a strong presence in the country and is focusing its efforts on enhancing its unique position as the leading junior exploration company in Laos.
