In Laos, the Company has acquired an exploration area in the northern part of the country with exceptional and significant outcropping high-grade copper-silver-molybdenum-gold mineralization and is currently carrying out drilling programmes. The Company has also entered into a JV with a local Lao company in order to secure a second project in the northern part of the country, and is applying for a third project. These projects will further the Company’s goal to become the premier copper explorer and developer in the country.

In Thailand, the projects include the Langu and Surat gold properties in the southern part of the country and in the northern part of the country two former high-grade tungsten mines, the Mae Lama and Mae Chedi tungsten properties. With Amanta’s focus on becoming a significant copper/silver and molybdenum exploration company in Laos, the Company’s Thai projects are no longer considered core projects and Amanta is considering ways to realise the value of its Thai assets, either through Joint Ventures or sales.

Amanta has the strength and flexibility to take advantage of consolidation and acquisition opportunities in Southeast Asia. It has an exceptional team of dedicated professionals operating in the field as well as a highly experienced and respected Management and Board of Directors at the corporate level. Amanta has its head office in Bangkok, Thailand, with offices in Vancouver, Canada and Vientiane, Laos.
