Amanta Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: AMH) is a junior mining company focused on mineral exploration and development of base and precious metals projects in Laos, Thailand and the surrounding countries of Southeast Asia. It has assembled a strategic portfolio of projects in Laos and Thailand and has applied for exploration licences for additional properties in those countries.

Amanta is currently concentrating on the acquisition, exploration and development of its copper projects in Laos. The Company has acquired an excellent understanding of the developing Lao minerals industry and is confident that it can develop additional project opportunities in the country, by obtaining additional government concessions and/or by negotiating joint venture agreements with holders of existing licences or concessions. Amanta has an established presence in Laos and is the only Canadian company to have been granted a copper exploration and development concession agreement by the Lao government. Along with its strong, experienced project management and technical team, it enjoys an excellent reputation in the country and has developed exceptional government and business contacts over the past five years.
